dRE Williams
Owner / Executive Director, Solid Art Collective, LLC
Between organizing art exhibits and art fundraisers for non-profit organizations, dRE started her own graphic design company, MonkeyRing Media in 2004. With 10+ years under her belt as a Visual Artist, dRE finetuned her business skills and began a private art collective of 8 Colorado Artists, Solid Art Collective. They exhibited as a group from June 2006 to February 2007 in the Fort Collins and Denver, Colorado area including a long-running slideshow of their works on local television.
In August 2006, dRE merged her two businesses and became Solid Art Collective, LLC, a multimedia production company. dRE teamed up with Femme Fatale Art Collective's Mariah Baretta and Solid Art Collective's own Jen Beshore to organize her first multimedia event - the Femme Fatale 2 Show in April 2007 at the Oriental Theater in Denver, Colorado. FF2 was a hit and inspired dRE to continue organizing multimedia events with art exhibits, musicians, DJs, fashion shows and local stage acts. With her own Event Staff and blossoming relationships with Visual Artists locally and nationally, dRE has progressed with her events to include August 2007's Divine Intervention, February 15th 2008's Birds of a Feather, and April 12th 2008's Absolute.
dRE lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with her Husband Paul and their cat-hater cat, Automatic.
Solid Art Collective's Event Staff includes:
Jen Beshore
Assistant Director - Femme Fatale 2 Show, Divine Intervention, Birds of a Feather
Stage Manager - Femme Fatale 2 Show; Assistant - Absolute
Best of friends for over 10 years, Jen & dRE have exhibited together for most their art careers and worked at the same bar for 5 of those. It was a natural progression from decorating the bar and dressing everyone for theme nights that they would have a career doing great things in the future. Jen is the Art curator for the Oriental Theater, has interviewed great bands like Electric 6 and is expecting her first prodigal son, Lucien Grey Petri-Beshore in June 2008. Her affections for Art & Music prove invaluable to the organization of these events and she is greatly appreciated & loved by everyone.
"We met in her living room at the Remington house. She was so funny in her blue Cookie Monster coat with the computer chip on her shoulder. I did a Drive by Jesus that Easter, painted dog poop pink and knew we would be friends for life." - dRE
